Question DDR 4 Corsair Vengeance GX4M2B3000C15

Unsure if my memory is working correctly I have 2 x 8gb Corsair DDR4 CMK16GX4M2B3000C15 sticks and according the CPU-Z and Corsair link they are showing max bandwidth of (1066Mhz) Yet this is supposed to be 3000Mhz?

I have had several issues with this bnoard and have had to flatten the bios a couple of times and Ram slot 2 on the MXB is dead and caused issues with USB

Take the speed CPU-Z shows you (1066) and double it - 2133 - that's the speed of your RAM. DDR stands for double data rate.

To OC the RAM to 3000Mhz (if your motherboard allows it), look for the XMP profile in your BIOS.

You need to go into your BIOS (tap the DEL key repeatedly after rebooting) and Enable the XMP (sometimes called A-XMP or DOCP) profile for your RAM.
