DDR3 1600 vs 1333 vs 1066 vs 2400

Hello guys,

My mobo is MSI B85M-E45 (It says "DDR3 1600/ 1333/ 1066 DRAM (1.5 Volt) non-ECC, un-buffered " on the manufature guide), and my cpu is i5 4460, GPU is gtx970, my current memory cards are ddr3 1600.
I usually use my desktop to play games (i.e. GTAV, COD black ops3, etc.)

what different between those DDR3s?

Yeah you can but it'd not be smart. It'll be downclocked to 1600Mhz. Frequency and latency are the differences in them. Just get 1600Mhz Crucial Ballistix Sport.

If it'll be downclocked to 1600 anyway, I would still keep using my current memory cards...

But that's not good because higher frequency memory has higher latency so 2400Mhz RAM at 1600Mhz will be worse than plain old 1600Mhz RAM.

Is this one correct? Will these two 8GB cards fit my current specs? I mean I got 4 memory slots on my mobo, and I will uninstall two of my old memory cards (2GB and 2GB) and I will install these two new Crucial cards....so in future there will be four cards (Two original 4GB cards and two new 4GB cards)
Will it be ok?

No guarantees that mixing RAM that doesn't come together in a box will work, especially mixing different types of RAM. If you want 16GB buy 2x8.
