Hello, i changet memory on my PC to DDR3 4Gb 1333mhz but i shows me only 398Mhz, why?

PC parametres is:
CPU - Intel Core 2 Due E8400 3 GHz Wolfdale 45nm Technology
RAM - 4 Gb Single-Channel DDR3 398 Mhz (6-6-6-15) ( that's how it show's me now but shoud be 1333Mhz)
Motherboard - ASRock G41C-GS (CPUSocket)
Graphics - Intel G41 Express Chipset ( ASRock)
Storage - SSD 256 GB

The FSB is already 1333 because that's the stock FSB for E8400. It takes a single channel of DDR3-1333 to match that FSB (both 10.67GB/s) which leaves nothing for the IGP, so it would be preferable to either go dual-channel or use a discrete GPU.

Under OC Tweaker in the BIOS, change DRAM frequency from [Auto] to [667MHz DDR3_1333]. It probably doesn't do this automatically because this is technically overclocking, as the chipset is only rated for up to DDR3-1066

It's on page 30 of the manual. If it doesn't show up then maybe your RAM sticks don't have 1333 timings in the SPD or maybe you have to set overclock mode to Manual. At least 533 is better than 400

And there are a whole lot more memory settings under Advanced Chipset settings starting on page 37.

So i were wrong, i set up wrong Jumper :D
But i found it and adjusted correct, in bios i see new 2 options for choose but it is not 1333mhz works. I mean max what will work it is 664mhz,
And i think it because of a Single channel, possible? Think of it, double 664 and we get 1333 almost.
