ddr3 another slot can i use

i have 2gb ddr3 ram. i want to upgrade to 4gb. my question is can i fix another slot with 2gb ddr3.

If your mb as more then one ram slot and can use the memory then yes. Just make sure it the same speed an voltage. There a nice little program or crucuail memory web page called a memory advisor it read your system and tell you all the info you need.
