DDR3 Budget gaming build

HI all thinking of upgrading from my old FM2 6700 APU, i dont have much money to spend, about £150, so would still like to keep my DDR3 memory as I have 10GB of it. I play WoW Legion, do people think it worth still using DDR3 or just suck it up and save for DDR4 ?

Well for budget ram doesn't matter much. But what are your ram sticks (speed, brand, CL9 or 11 just full specs).
Can you go for used components?(can you give site where you can buy components).

Faster memory isn't going to change your gaming speeds much and most likely you wouldn't notice it. I would suggest waiting and saving up for DDR4 memory/motherboard.

If you want to keep the DDR3 RAM, I suggest buying an AM3/AM3+ motherboard (if you can still find one these days) and getting an AMD FX-6200. If the 6200 is too expensive, you can always get the AMD FX-6300.

He can go for I5-4460 (Here at my used £80) and £H81m(about £30-£40) motherboard for £150 pounds or less.

thanks for the advice peeps, i think I am going to just hang on and try to get a ddr4 system for future upgrades
