Im using a AMD A8-7600 and I've seen around the Internet people saying that faster ram will greatly improve my performance as the apu uses ram as vram so I went in my BIOS and looked around for "memory frequency" so u could bump it up a little bit. The ram I'm using has a target speed of 1600mhz but I'd like to have it a little bit faster. Don't know if this is considered overclocking or not but anyways. So I chose to select 1866mhz in the memory frequency as a start, when I save and exit I get a black screen. At first I shut my pc off because I was a bit scared when I turned it on again it gave me a message that the OC has failed. Should I try again and wait at the black screen?
I'm using a crucial 8gb stick of ddr3 ram and I have a asus a68hm plus motherboard.
Thanks
