DDR3 or DDR4?

I'm about to upgrade my pc but I want him to be on a certain collors (black&white). So I chose DDR3 mobo and ram stick.

● MOTHERBOARD MSI Z97S SLI KRAIT EDITION
● RAM HYPERX FURY 8GB (1X8GB) DDR3-1600MHZ WHITE

Can someone tell me if there are DDR4 (black&white) MOBO and (white) RAM stick 8GB around the same price?

And If the DDR4 does it make too much diference?

Also, you can get a good scheme on DDR4 easy, MSi makes krait for 1151 sockets too. Check corsair vengeance LPX if you can't find that RAM around, or Crucial ballistix sport LT

You're gonna want an LGA1151 cpu though, not 1150. They don't work across platforms.

Upgrading from DDR3 to DDR4 (or upgrading to DDR2 from DDR3) is a little bit useless. You won't get any noticeable performance boost.
DDR4 is also VERY expensive compared to DDR3, so I would recommend to wait.

ASUS do a lof of white parts. Whats your budget? Hard to say without knowing what youre paying for the z97 board, but there are no 1150 boards that support DDR4 so you'd have to switch to a Skylake/Kabylake board and CPU.

And no DDR4 doesnt make that much difference.

I disagree with DDR3 being either too expensive or not performing much better. I think DDR4 is quite a bit better than DDR3 and cost similarly.

Srry guys I had not noticed that my cpu was a 1150 socket so I can't have the DDR4 but no problem. Srry for wasting your time but thx all that helped me and GL for the rest of your day.
