Okay. I'm new to this forum and this is my first question and might sound stupid as well. Recently I bought Asrock 990FX Extreme 4 motherboard and AMD FX-8350 bulldozer/vishera CPU. You guessed it correct , I'm building a gaming machine. But when I looked at what kind of memory motherboard supports I was a little bothered. I was tight on budget when I bought these two. The motherboard it seems to me to be supporting only DDR3 Ram nothing else other than that. http://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/990FX%20Extreme4/?cat=Memory
Does it mean it applies to Graphics card memory type too?? or is it just with the RAM sticks? does that mean it won't be supporting GDDR5 or DDR5 or DDR4 type Graphics cards?? and also the normal RAM? Am I doomed for a poor game performance if I have no option left other than to use DDR3 Ram type?? Kindly be detailed in your answers. I have to buy other things too like FAN etc. etc. and I have a budget of around 300 USD. or if someone can direct me more specifically at bulding a gaming machine with that much amount would be better. I'm okay with all kinds of boards like mini-ITX , mini ATX.
