I'm trying to upgrade My DDR3 Ram from 4GB to 8GB. I only Have two slots on my motherboard, on one slot it says STD and the other slot it says BTM. When I put a Ram into The BTM slot it feels to tight, it does not fit in smoothly, the clips that hold the ram down looks a little larger too and the system will not boot with Any Ram in The BTM slot at all. I looked up my system ( Acer Axc-603G-uw15) it says it needs SODIMM but the ram that was in it from the factory says DIMM. Will a 4GB SODIMM fit into that BTM Slot. please help

Solution
yes, it´s both SODIMM DDR3, but couldn´t verify the compatible voltage (DDR3"L" = low voltage = 1.35V or DDR3 1.5V)
This has to be labeled on the RAM itself. Post the complete model number of the one, which was installed in the system before.

Difference:
SODIMM 204Pins
and DIMM DDR3 240Pins

you can´t accidentally put a normal size DIMM into an SODIMM slot
