I'm currently using the Asus P5G41T-M LX, which was a horrible choice, but the specs specifies that it can support ram with frequencies of 1333 (O.C.)/1066/800 MHz. I'm confused about the 1333 (O.C.); does it mean that I can only use Ram that is either 1066 mhz or 800 mhz that is overclocked to 1333 mhz? I can't use ram that is 1333 mhz standard? I'm experiencing horrible speeds on my desktop and I think it has something to do with the wrong ram frequency. I bought the http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820220466.

I'm thinking about buying this

to replace the Patriot ram if the problem lies within the wrong frequencies.

You just need to use the OverClocking function of your Motherboard's and increase the MHz from 1066 to 1333 MHz. Refer the manufacturer's manual for more information.

Though this motherboard does support 1333 MHz and 1600 MHz and will underclock.

Good luck!
