Good day everyone,
I have 6GB, 3 sticks ddr3 ram, that for quite sometime now, it was being read as 4GB. At first I though it was a bad stick, but after troubleshooting them one by one, it turned out that DDR3_3 socket is not working/reading the stick. I tried looking for alternative configuration to get all three to work.
I now am using them in this configuration (DDR3_2 - DDR3_1 - DDR3_5), and windows is reading them as 6gb, but not sure if it is ok or a bad move.
I wanted your expertise on the matter.
Thanks.

my setup:
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-EX58 UD5P
CPU: Intel i7 920
Rams: Corsair Dominator 3 x2GB 1600MHz DDR3
