Question DDR4 RAM mixing same brand but different frequency and timings?

Hello, I'm currently using this Vengeance RAM Kit 2x8GB. I'm looking to upgrade to 32GB so I was wondering if this Vengeance RAM 1x16GB will work. It's the same brand but it has different timings and frequency. Any ideas?

Makes no difference if it's the same brand and sometimes same specs can fail. Mixing is trickier with ddr4 than older generations. There's no definite answer if it'll work, it's not a definite no, but trying it is the only way to find out. Every system is different so googling experiences won't be 100% same for your system.
