Question DDR4 RAM OC QUESTIONS

Hey guys

I rock a r5 5600 along with an MSI Tomahawk Max II b450 mobo and recently bought a pair of 4000MT cl16 rams

This is the exact model

F4-4000C16D-16GTZRA​

Thing is, While trying to understand the first thing about how to modify timings (and i am not doing too great in that regard either tbh), i noticed the fact that my MCLK and FCLK are not 1:1, which I know should be pretty important.

MCLK is 2000

FCLK is 1800

Should I go to 3600 with my ram?

While doing so what do I do about the timings?

Should I aim for a tighter cl?

I feel like I am trying to swim in moving sand lol

3600 is good, 3800 may be possible but go no higher. An internal clock is halved and any benefit is lost.

3600 and tight timings will probably give you the best results.
