Question DDR4 SODIMM Notch types

I'g upgrading the RAM on my laptop, and when browsing on Amazon I came upon an realization. Some of the RAM, such as this one, has the notch on the left side. Others, had it on the right side. What is the difference? I ran a crucial scan on the laptop, the RAM it recommended has a right side slot. The laptop is a Asus f510ua-ah51 (online it says it has ddr3 ram but both crucial and CPU-Z have confirmed it to be DDR4.

I believe I have the first one. I have not opened it and checked, but both CPU Z and Crucial scans say I have DDR4 RAM
