I am building a SFF system for video editing. The Asus specs list a max speed of 5200 for the DDR5 memory without over clocking. Asus states it supports up to 6400+(OC). I have not over clocked memory before and want a stable system. I was looking at Corsair Vengeance memory (2x32GB) and they have 5200 and 6400. Would I be able to use the 6400 with any benefits? Would the system still be stable?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

You can pick up pretty much any ram kit on the market, so long as it's got Intl's X.M.P advertised on it(instead of AMD's E.X.P.O). All you need to do in BIOS(after it's flashed to the latest version, is enable X.M.P.

IMHO, I'd stick with a dual channel, tight latencied DDR5-6000MHz ram kit.

What about speed vs CAS? I know faster speed and lower CAS is better, but is the a point where the gains are not significant especially when compared to cost?
