Hi
I pay someone for overclock manualy my ddr5, becouse xmp not working, even if is qvl list.
My question is: if overclock look stable and make memtest86. have to see 0 error or is fine if will be a few error?

You paid someone to do this?
What was wrong with XMP?

And the only allowable result from memtest is 0 errors.
yes 30$
if use xmp game and software some time crash

at moment look stable at 6600mhz and want start memtest86, so have to find 0 error? if not have to ask a refound?

Could you please add all you system specs either here or better yet to your profile, including monitor, cpu, motherboard, ram (DDR? and speed), power supply and basically anything else in your rig? This will greatly improve your chances of getting good answers to your questions. Thanks

This is very likely the issue.

Mixing RAM often does not work quite right.
Anything that does not come in the same box is "mixing".
of course i use or 2 ram kit F5-6400J3239G32GX2-TZ5RS (non in QVL)
or 4 ram kit CMH64GX5M4B6600C32 (in QVL)
I never mix

And still, if you get anything other than 0 errors in memtest86, that is a fail.

Might be the RAM, or might be the motherboard slots.

Try it with a single RAM stick.
If it passes, do it with that same RAM stick in each of the board slots.

Repeat with another RAM stick.

These night I test 4 ram kit corsairs 4.2hour and 2 ram kit g.skill 3.8hour, both test with XMP profile 0 error.
Still have the problme, 3dmark crash at cpu test and y-crucher crash after 30 min test.
Probably is CPU the problem, but intel test pass aswell

I monitored my PC with HWiNFO64 and noticed that the maximum CPU temperatures at idle reach 80 degrees, and during gaming, they go up to 93 degrees. However, I have never seen these temperatures in the current temperature section; the highest I observed there was 65 degrees. Additionally, HWiNFO64 indicates thermal throttling, even though I have never reached 100 degrees with the maximum temperatures.
Could WHEA-Logger system errors 19 or 17 be related to thermal trothlling?

80C at idle is FAR too high.

Discover why it is doing that.
