The only way to "Repair" a battery is to replace the cell(s). That is basically buying a new battery, so usually that is the more economical (and vastly safer) option.
If it is an older model with 18650 cells (the round ones), they are somewhat easier to deal with. It is very risky to deal with prismatic cells (pouches). They are easy to pierce and will catch on fire. Cells in a battery are typically soldered together with precision temperature to avoid damaging the cells. If you don't already have a basic soldering iron and experience in such matters you will be spending more on the equipment than a new battery will cost.
