Hey everyone, last night i was using my pc as usual i shut it down and went to bed, in the morning, i wake up and when i try to power on the pc, nothing happens, not even the fans move.
I tested almost everything possible, so what i am looking for in this post, is closure that the culprit is my motherboard.
Specs
Gpu: gtx 1080
Cpu: ryzen 7 5700x3D
Ram: 16gb DDR4 3200mhz
Motherboard: Asus 520m S2H
OS on an m.2
Here are the things i tried:
1) tried with only one ram stick on both slots
2) reset cmos
3) unplug psu, trying different wall sockets
4) jumping the system with the motherboard pins
5) unplugging and plugging 24pin psu connectors
6) tests on the psu: psu supplied energy to the fan connected directly to the psu, but did not supply power to any other fans or aio. Tried with my friends psu, which we know works, to no avail.
7) reseat cpu
8) tried draining power by holding power button flr 30sec
9) tried starting the pc without gpu on
Probably tried more things but can’t even remember, it’s been a rough day.
I think everything aims at the motherboard, so i am seeing if i can buy a new one these days.
Edit: the gtx 1080 has always had a white led turned on, so i guess the psu does supply energy to the 1080?
Keyboard and mouse light up too
