Dead Space 2 stopped working

Dead Space 2 stops working, when I try to enter the solar array room in chapter 7.
The game suddenly crashes.......
Problem Event Name: BEX
I've tried loading the game frm a previous save point, but still the game crashes when i try to enter the solar array room.
Plz Help.....................

The cracked versions of the game used to have this problem...
Are you using a legit one?
