[SOLVED] Decent HDMI Switcher

so i have several consoles and only 3 HDMI ports on my TV, i was thinking about getting an HDMI Switch to plug them all into, but have heard that buying a cheapo Switcher will makes the picture look like s**t, i have about 4 consoles that will need to go into it, since the first and second HDMI ports on my TV are taken up by my PC and Nintendo Switch Dock, can anyone recommend a decent HDMI Switcher?

With HDMI switcher there's no signal conversion involved. So - no signal degradation possible.
Any basic switch is fine.

don't these need to be independently powered?

Depends on model. Simple HDMI switch (in the link) doesn't need additional power.
It gets 5V from HDMI connection.
