Hi,
I'm looking for a new psu, last one was a crappy gigatech 550w and there was a lot of problems with it.
I really cant wait anymore because I need my pc and have a small budget. PSUs that I found here in my area within my budget are corsair cx series 430/500, cooler master b500 ,thermaletake litepower and evga 430w and 500w 80+ .
My setup is
CPU: amd fx-6100 (gonna upgarde the cpu too with an i5 )
GPU: rx 460 2gb
RAM: kingstone 8gb ddr3
HDD: seagate 250gb
I use it for gaming mostly cs go, h1z1, lol, and maybe some singeplayer games.
Thanks for your help.

Yea, the TXM is an excellent unit, very highly rated, tier 1 PSU.

The Seasonic is an older model, but still rock solid and a quality unit.

He wouldn't have to up all that much to get into some that are worth buying.

Yeah, seems like if he up it to like 150KM he could get a decent one.

Ha, stupid search functionality of this website.... waste a lot of time.

@ OP, this is it! Seasonic, one of the best quality brands.

I wouldn't buy used.

Never know what they went through.

To get that type of quality new you would need to up the budget.

Both the Seasonic and the Corsair TX are excellent units.

Then get the Corsair TX as the Seasonic, while being a decent unit, doesn't have Over Current Protection. Also the TX is a much better quality unit than that specific Seasonic PSU.

According to Linus Psu tier list (Yes I know it is not all accurate) the TX is a tier 1 unit while the Seasonic S is a tier 4 unit.

That's just because it's outdated by today's standards, still a rock solid PSU.

No I wouldn't buy one today new, I would get a G at least if getting one now.

Not because it is outdated, but because it lacks Over Current Protection they cannot rate it higher. Basically from tier 3 and up, they must have all the protections.

Yeah it's not Haswell Certified... Not DC to DC.
