Decent priced EQ analog for my pc?

The bass in my new headphones are too high and i'm wondering what kind of hardware has a physical EQ slider or knob that will allow me to fix the sound. Any suggestions?

Short version. EQ is for final fine tuning. The volume curves are for the most part built into the drivers of speakers and the drivers of a piece of audio output equipment. 6 to 12 Dbs is about the limit of eq as it overdrives the speakers otherwise. If you are getting way too much bass out of your headphones maybe you should try to find cans that have a sound signature more to your liking. Sennheiser is a good place to start.

I have the senheiser HD 598 SE and they sound worse than my steelseries siberia v2 headset from 2011. This is why i'm complaining. Maybe it's because i'm using the 5mm heaphone adapter?
