Hello Everyone,

Im looking to buy a new monitor and its a harder decison then i thought so I'm asking for some help to ultimately decide, Now a few rules i wanna stick to -

1. At least 27inch (Softcap) - As i may not have room for anything bigger
2. Can be either 1080p or 1440p (pref) - not looking for 4k at this moment in time ( i know their is a monitor linked here thats 4k however im unsure beacuse of the 5ms response time)
3. Needs to be at least 144hz
4. AMD Freesync Compatible.
5. I am unsure on wheather to go with a VA or IPS Panel
6. Looking around £200 - £300 mark

Below are links to some monitors i have found please tell me yay or nay on these and please make your own recommendations. thank you.

I couldn't decide which is best for you but do keep in mind that a display is a lengthy investment so buy something that has good reviews by customers as well as Rtings because you'll be sitting in front of the thing for many years. Price in that regard could be an exception.

Im still no closer to deciding which one to go for to be fare as every single monitor seems to have pros and cons and opinions shift greatly for youtuber to youtuber

You do not want 27" and 1080p unless you are half blind or the monitor sits 4-5ft away from your head vs the standard arms length.

1080p is 1920x1080. Doesn't matter if it's a 24" or 70 huge screen TV, it's the exact same 1920 pixels wide and 1080 pixels tall. What does change is the size of the individual pixels, so sitting too close to the screen with a larger screen just un-blurs pixel edges and makes the picture terrible. For 1080p stick with 24" at most, 1440p for 27-35" and 4k is so tiny it's good for any size, but larger is better if you want to actually see the details.
