I have a intel nuc with an 8gb Crucial ram stick coded CT8G4SFD8213.C16FBD1. I ordered another stick of the same, but I received a CT8G4SFS8213.M8FB stick instead of the CT8G4SFD8213.C16FBD1. I can’t figure out what the .M8FB or .C16FBD1 designators mean. I only see that my current is dual rank and the new one is single rank.
When I ran benchmarks on userbenchmark.com, I got this with just the first stick:
"Crucial CT8G4SFD8213.C16FBD1 1x8GB
184 User benchmarks, average bench 41%
1 of 2 slots used
8GB SODIMM DDR4 clocked @ 2133 MHz"
But then when I added the new stick, I got this:
"Unknown CT8G4SFD8213.C16FBD1 1315 CT8G4SFS8213.M8FB 16GB
2133, 2133 MHz
8192, 8192 MB
Relative performance n/a - insufficient samples"
Speed essentially doubled, but I'm concerned about running into random problems later.
Any help understanding what I’ve got is appreciated.
Thanks.
