Decrease in performance

GPU: GTX 1080Ti 11GB GDDR5
CPU: i9-9900k 3.6 GHz
Memory: Corsair 32GB DDR4 3000mhz
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z390 Gaming SLI
CPU Cooler: Corsair H55

I have swapped out a my motherboard and processor which where ASUS Z270-A Pro and i7-7700k . I've noticed a decrease in performance . The temps in idle 35-45c and while gaming are 65-75c. I lost about 30fps in every game I play. Any ideas on it?

you could use a 360 mm cooler ,a custom loop and better high grade paste

I noticed high temps and thermal throttling turning on. But would that hurt the performance that bad?

I've installed a new cooler . Performance did not improve

Did you do a clean install of Windows?

Yes. But I've noticed a slight grinding sound coming from my PSU

I replaced my PSU . No more grinding but still a lost in fps
