I didn't see a more appropriate thread, so apologizies if this doesn't belong.
I recently bought a 1.9GHz DECT 6.0 baby monitor (which works great!), but now our 2.4 GHz phone failed.
If I buy a DECT 6.0 cordless phone at 1.9GHz, is that likely to interfere with our baby monitor? All the sales people say "no", but I can't trust the people at circuit city
I'm assuming they must use different channels on the 1.9GHz range, or else neighbour's phones would be interfering as well.
But at the same time, whenever I turn the microwave on (2.4GHz), my 2.4GHz cordless phone is filled with static... is DECT 6.0 going to have the same problems?
Thanks in advance!
