I an building my pc and I realized after I installed my Deepcool Gammaxx GT cooler that it was crooked. It got late while I was working on it so I figured I would fix it later and I had to work the next few days so I came back to it several days later and I tried twisting it with moderate pressure as I read you could do that with some similarly mounted coolers. My question is after having the arctic silver ceramique 2 (I used that cause I had some on hand) for several days could twisting it mess up the cpu pins or anything? I eventually loosened it and straightened it a bit, but I did twist it with moderate pressure before. Is there also any downside besides aesthetics to having it slightly crooked? Thanks in advance for your help :)

Solution
AMD or Intel? Everything should be bam straight as an arrow, but with AMD Cpu's I found that yes, the pins on the Cpu could bend as the Cpu itself could move while trying to straighten the cooler. It's best to find some more thermal paste and reapply it... I mean the paste will harden as well, and knowing that, you could damage your Cpu.
