Hey all,

Default user/passes I've googled to access the web UI through the switch's IP arent working on Cisco 3750 switch, tried admin/admin, admin/cisco, cisco/cisco etc

Any way to change it from the CLI?

Although they may have changed this in later years switches do not have a default password. If there is any userid and password it would be blank. Many times the webgui is enabled but not configured so you will never get in that way until you set it up.

IN any case you are going to need a console cable to reset the switch. Many times the console is not password protected...it isn't by default...so that may be all it takes to get into the switch. You must hold the mode button until it resets and then delete the config file to reset the switch.

You really should get used to using the console cable and the cli anyway. Only the very basic function can be configured via webgui as soon as you need something advanced the web page will just open a black screen that you can type commands into. You might as well use telnet or SSH to start with for remote access. You are going to be configuring via line mode anyway.

When I got it out of the box I reset it and put an IP/vlan and a name on it;
I'll try resetting it again and will report back, thanks gentlemen!
