Default gateway not available

I always gets disconnected while surfing the net on windows 10 and it starts working again as soon as i troubleshoot the problem. It always says that " Default gateway is not available" .

I though that i was windows 10 issue so i went back to windows 8.1 but the same problem was happening there also.

I tried searching for the solution of this issue and also done each and every step of installing/updating network drivers but it just doesn't work.

I am connected via Ethernet on my CPU and other devices are connected via WIFI . The devices connected via WIFI works absolutely fine without issues.

Does anybody knows how to resolve this issue ?

Try setting a static IP address for your desktop rather than using DHCP, atleast this way, you know it has the details it needs to connect and if it's still happening, start looking at things like the cable, network ports on the PC and router.

One of the most common issues with gateways is having ip conflicts.
If you have a few devices check the ip of the web interfaces and the DHCP lease.
