default gateway not working, will not connect to admin page

default gateway is shown as 10.0.0.1. it connected me with this at one of my friends houses but will not work when i am at my house. unsure of what is causing this.

Your router very probably uses a different default gateway.

To find your address open a command prompt box on an attached computer and type ipconfig then hit the return key. Look for the gateway address, which will probably be 192.168.x.1.
