So, my system isn't that good to handle 1680x1050 is there any way to set lower resolution as the DEFAULT resolution?

I mean ,if i put 1024x768 the videos on youtube,and the photos n facebook ,they will look like 360p

It depends on your display. But you can most certainly try it.

Right click on the Desktop. Select Screen Resolution.
You should see the resolution box there. Click on it, and it will let you change the resolution to anything Windows thinks the display can show.

It's not cause i can't see in HD , when i have lowest resolution

Hello,

For the LCD screens. the best resolution is their native resolution, so 1680x1050 in your case. What are your system' specs? An old Pentium dual core with on-board video (HD4500) and 2GB of RAM should have no problems playing 720p videos. If you want to lower the screen resolution, at least use resolutions with close ratio as the native one: 1680x1050 has 16:10 screen ratio, so try to use 1440x900 or 1280x800.

Are you sure you have the proper GPU drivers installed?
