[SOLVED] Delete Partition?

Hello

I'm considering having 2x Partitions on one drive for my new build... but I'm wondering - if you have a drive split into 2x Partitions…

Can you delete one of them… and then will the other one automatically become the full size of the drive?

Would this cause any problems etc?

Automatically resize, no.

Much easier backup / recovery if your own stuff is on separate partition (volume). Next Windows restart - you can safely reformat C:, without touching D:

Hi Guys

Well I'm still debating which to do with my new build...

Dual boot Win 10/Win 11.... or just install one.

That's why I'm curious about this...

In a perfect world I was going to try to get two 500gb Samsung 980 Pro's... but that's considerably more expensive per TB compared to getting 1TB drive instead.

Thus the possible partitions for dual boot....

However, at the moment I've kind of changed my mind and am leaning more towards just going with Windows 11 ONLY - as it might be better for some newer programs/games?

Don't dual boot. Unless you have a real reason, just wasted space.
