Delete profile from registry

I had to delete my user profile from my PC due to some issues with it, so I deleted my user profile from C:\Users. I went to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\ProfileList to do some additional cleanup, but found that in Windows 10 the key doesn't exist.

I figured oh well, must be fine. Logged back in and now I am just logging in with a temp profile. Where in the registry do I need to delete the key for the profile?

I tried your above suggestion, but was unfortunately still having issues.

I did some more searching and found the registry key for Profiles in Windows 10. I needed to be looking in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList.

In previous versions of Windows the key was in Windows, but now it is in Windows NT. The combination of the link you provided and finding the reg key solved the issue.

Thanks
