delete user account control update request

I am getting a request from account control update requesting permission to update java; if I click yes nothing happens, if I click no nothing happens; prompt just keeps reappearing. How can I get rid of request

Adjust your UAC setting to "Never notify" (the lowest setting).

Control Panel > User Accounts > "make changes to your account" > "change user account control settings"
