Delete workgroup xp

1 Log on to your computer with an administrative account.
2 Open the Start menu, right-click on the "My Computer" icon and select "Properties."
3 Go to the "Computer Name" tab at the top of the "Properties" window.
4 Click on the "Change" button in the middle of the window.
5 Delete the name of your workgroup at the bottom of the window and instead enter "WORKGROUP" into the field. "WORKGROUP" is the default workgroup name on Windows XP.
6 Click "OK" to remove the workgroup from your computer.
