Deleted files from CCleaner

Keep in mind that if you deleted files on a drive that's constantly in use, like the system drive, deleted files tend to become unrecoverable within minutes.

CCleaner shouldn't touch anything that you wouldn't miss. If it's working properly, it cleans up temporary files.

I ran Ccleaner and it wiped out a lot of my files on my PC.
Is there a way to retrieve my files?
Are you asking to know if there really gone or is there something you lost and want back?

I don't use CCleaner anymore but when I did I used it to find all the crap files. I would keep it opened while I would go directly to the items CCleaner found and manually shred with a another program.

Every time you refresh CCleaner with the manual clean and shred, "my other program" than I knew what I wanted to not live anymore was gone.

CCleaner with it's basic clean is good enough to keep others not seeing those cough cough web pages but give someone with skills your drive and you would turn ghost white with what can be retrieved .
