Deleting a OS.

So, Tomorrow i will be finishing my PC build. I currently cant afford to buy windows 7 at the moment, Since i'm so impatient i was thinking about using Linux for a little bit, then when i can afford windows 7, deleting Linux and then installing windows. can i do this simply?

When Win 7 arrives, format the hard drive. That will erase the previous OS, and everything else.

When the Windows 7 install gets around to the disk partitions, delete them all, and let the installation make new ones.
