d Can someone please tell how to delete a remaining exe. file? I downlaoded
casino.net and removed the program from add and remove programs in the
control panal, but still have a shortcut that reinstalls the application.
After checking windows explorer, I found 2 files in C:, windows, temp,
casino.net. I am not quite how to safely remove these files. Any help would
be highly appreciated. I am running windows 98 SE.

You can't remove these pests just by deleting a few files. Look up the
problem for your exact version of the adware on the www and find the removal
information, such as :

When you say you still have a 'shortcut' that 'reinstalls', just where is
this
shortcut? What does it say when you right click on it and then
'properties'?.
Does it have a 'target'?
Usually shortcuts lead to the execution (exe) of its target application.
Check out all folders/files that it leads to and post back.

I When I go into windows explorer, I click on C, windows, temp, then
casino.net. 2 files show up...cam.cas and casinonet_en_full. When I right
click on cam.cas and click properties, it comes up as a cas file and has a
location of C:\windows\temp\casino.net. When I do the same to
casino_en_full, it comes up as an application with a location as
C:\windows|temp\casino.net. I also have a shorcut on my desktop that says
install cansino.net. When I right click on that and click properties, it has
a target of C:\windows|temp\casino,net\casinonet_en_full_exe.

Thanks,
