Delid 4670k problems!

Hello! So i decided to delid my 4670k becasue the temps are terrible and i can barely overclock. Im doing the vice method but it has not been going so well... So i took a hammer and a piece of wood, I used both small and big heavy pieces but i cant get the IHS off! Its stuck! I hit it pretty hard and also tried smaller faster hits but still nothing... Any ideas what the problem is? Should i preheat the CPU or sometthing?

try the razor blade method.

Try watching the vise method video on that link in my last post. Maybe there is something small you might have overlooked.
