Dell 24pin to 6pin power

Dell bare MB projects are usually not a good idea. You'll run into issues with the proprietary front I/O header, cable, and circuit board. I'm not saying it can't be done. But you'll end up with a lot of work for a low end result. The Dell motherboard converts all of the minor Voltages on the MB. You may have issues with the PSU not wanting to run with no load on the 5V. rail.
The adaptor you link to says absolutely nothing about being for an Optiplex 5050. HP has their own PSU issues.
My advice would be #1 Don't bother.#2 Look for a Dell PSU from a higher level system that used that MB header, and came with a discrete GPU power cable. They are quality parts. I've seen Dell 24 to 8 pin adapters. I'm not aware of any 24 to 6 pin. But then I haven't had any reason to look.

Front I/O header
I only need a power switch. I think i will solder a custom one to the headers.

Look for a Dell PSU
I think this will do the trick. The setup of this computer will be probably a low power i7T or i5T ES without discrete GPU and a NVMe ssd for no extra cables.(father's office pc anyway)So even the exact PSU for the 5050 will suffice.
Thanks for the advice!
