Hi guys,
Having some compatibility issues between my laptop and new monitor.
My laptop is a Lenovo Thinkpad p15v (gen 2)
https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/au/en/...-p15v-gen-2-type-21a9-21aa/document-userguide
My monitor is a Dell 3221qs
https://www.dell.com/en-au/shop/del...1qs/apd/210-axhp/monitors-monitor-accessories
I've used about 3 different cables so far including a new one that was marked to work with 8k.
On windows 11, I can select 60hz for 2560 x 1440 but when the resolution is set to 3840 x 2160, the only options are 30 and under (30, 29.97, 25, 24, 23.98)
Testing these separately, I am able to get the monitor to work at 4k @ 60hz with my xbox series x and I'm able to get my laptop to work at 4k @60hz with my tv.
Am I missing something else here in the middle? Lenovo and Dell are basically saying talk to the other one at the moment.
I would prefer to keep my usb-c slot available if possible. (I've read that a usb-c to dp might be an option).
