Hi there! I'd love to try and help you figure out why you can't seem to get into the TPM settings. Is there any chance you can run a HWiNFO scan on the system and post a screenshot? It'd give me the exact model number of the machine along with BIOS information. It can be downloaded from here.

Once you do that, just run the program and take a screenshot of the summary page. There's a few things that may cause no access to TPM.
  • Possible Legacy support or UEFI/Secure boot settings interfering with TPM
  • Pin shorted on motherboard stopping TPM from being activated (uncommon, but possible on pre-builts)
  • Other BIOS setting preventing TPM from being usable at the moment.
For initial suggestions, try the following...

For initial suggestions, try the following:
  1. Make sure legacy support is off, and secure boot is enabled.
  2. Set an administrator password for the BIOS and reboot
Let's see if that works, but I would love to see the extra details about the machine so I can help more. Thanks and good luck, hope this helps!

Wow I would like to say thankyou so much. I did a quick legacy "off" and put in password that worked!!!! I did have secure boot on last wk but the password combo did the trick. last wk I even fresh installed Windows but a pain. Even Dell support doesn't give a rat. I bet there are many people like me out there with the same problem. Thankyou.
