First post here, I am not a computer engineer but I have slept at a holiday in. Anyways, I have a Dell 7920 that run Duel Zeon processor and want to upgrade the cooling. I suspect it is getting hot under the fan shroud due to having a failure of 4 ram chips and a Xeon 7136 CPU. The current setup looks like this.

Anyways, the goal here is adding two cpu cooler fans and maybe a grapic card cooler too . I suppose I can jump the mid power fan to run the CPU coolers but suspect the fan shroud might get in the way of the new cpu coolers. If that the case what are my option then? To complicate matters more i want to run duel Xeon 7154 which I belive will run hotter. Any advice will be appricated. Thank you for your time

goal here is adding two cpu cooler fans...maybe a graphic card cooler too
just replace existing CPU cooler fans with higher quality models.
if none exist then you will need an entirely new cooler and i doubt there are many, if any, retail models that are compatible with this OEM prebuilt thing.

adding a "graphics card cooler" usually entails disassembling your current GPU and installing a new plate, shroud and fans to it.
just adding additional fans to the case to add some airflow for the GPU is totally different.
Any advice will be appreciated
get a decent tower with good airflow to house the system,
get a new non-OEM motherboard to support a newer better CPU,
get a good cooler to support the new CPU,
get a nice retail power supply to power the system.

I sit hear at a loss for words
you don't understand what a "decent" case with good airflow is vs any OEM prebuilt's?

and you mention wanting to change your CPU but afraid it will run even warmer.
to add a nicer cooler you will likely need a better retail board vs the OEM model that came with this system.
and it's also likely that this OEM case doesn't offer the necessary space for a nicer modern cooler.

WelI, I would think leaving the side panel off and removing a fan shroud could add more cool air. It's a bit cheaper then a new case, board and CPU's.

if you remove a fan shroud then the fan will be going with it.
this means that the heat will not dissipate as it should from the heatsink and the CPU and surrounding area will be even hotter than ever even with the side panel removed.

you could try removing the side panel, leaving the interior as is, and pointing a large more powerful exterior desk fan right into the system.
cheaper than a new case, board and CPU's.
you still have not mentioned any sort of budget so how does anyone here know what type of solution you may be aiming for.

any decent "fix" for this situation is going to cost some money.
if just ghetto-rigging something in place is your goal you need to include the fact that you're looking to do this for free.
