Dell 9200

I have a 2yr 10m old Dell 9200, 2 weeks ago I tried to bring it out of sleep screen never woke and the cpu fan went high speed (lift off)power up button went to yellow and remained yellow, no front panel number sequence. Have since powered up with success but switch off and on system back to yellow power button and high speed fan. Tried to find a MB WG855 no stock except the states. Any suggestions.

Have you tried a different PSU?

No, manual points to hardware failure with solid amber on power switch, flashing amber points to a power rail failure. PSU looking at £50, with switch mode units usually one rail fails rest follow yet the unit has powered up twice since initial failure all systems operating.
