I recently replaced my motherboard. It was a DN075 and very dead!! I purchased another used one. Everything
was going good until I started to boot!
The pc says that it cannot locate the hard drive! Now it wants me to insert a disc so can store windows on it! Help!!

Solution
if you go into bios before bios by pushing esc, f12, f2 what ever the prompt is on your splash screen, there is a tab/page that is for booting. it sounds like your primary boot drive is set to your disk drive

and as anonymous asked just to verify is it the same exact model as your previous mobo
do you have the hdd set as your primary boot option?
do you have have the internal hdd plugged in correctly? try to reseat sata cable and psu cables.
is the hdd recieving power?
you can try other sata ports on the mobo to connect to

Don't know how to set as primary boot option! Have plugged into all 4 sata ports.
only thing left is check for power!
