Dell Dimension E521 Video Card

My video card gave out this week and I don't know what kind of card to replace it with. I am not really a gamer, but occasionally step into that world. I would like to do basic web browsing, live streaming, and occasional games.

All I know about my computer is that it is a Dell Dimension E521.

Help? Suggestions?

I saw that Newegg.com has a MSI N210-MD1G/D3 GeForce 210 1GB 64-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready Low Profile Ready Video Card for $15. Will that work?

Yes. I use that card, and it's fanless. It's all you will need. As long as your board has a pci-e slot, it will work fine.

You will only be able to do very light gaming with that system regardless of the video card you put in. its an old athlon64/sempron system. Even with a dual core athlon64 it must struggle on facebook.

I up-graded an E521 a few months ago with a X2 5400+ (Brisbane 65w) and some RAMS, and that sucker was flyin' when it went out the door.

whys everyone keep saying low profile? The E521 isn't a slimline, its a mid tower (although it is on the short side)
