Dell E6410 not reading SSD or HDD

Hi this has been going on for a week . My dell latitude is not reading the ssd during boot its telling me boot device found and even in the bios there is no drive . I tried another hdd and it worked and then when I rebooted the computer it didn't work again it did not read the hdd. why is this happening please help!

I think your onboard sata controller or the physical sata interface is dying. had that problem with a customer's desktop that took a while to figure out til it displayed no hd found. drive was good as tried with another sata drive which did same thing. replaced the sata hd with an ide hd it worked.

could it be also the keyboard got wet but not much water the laptop blue screened.

water on keyboard won't cause the sata issue unless water got to sata circuit.

What could I do to fix it should I replace the motherboard ?

I took it apart and found corrosion around the sata connector

so choice is new\used motherboard or new\used laptop.
