Question Dell G15 5515 GDL5L LA-K454P - any reason I can't use m15 mobo ?

I have a Dell G15 5515 Laptop with Ryzen 7 5800H & 3050 Ti. With some research I've concluded the 3050 ti mobo is interchangeable with the 3060 mobo however, I'm curious if there's any reason I can't upgrade to the r9/3070 mobo that came in the m15 r5 - GDL56 LA-K453P? They appear to have the same dimension, 86wh battery, same number of ports etc. Theoretically, if i backup everything onto an ssd, format another ssd with a fresh w11 install on it and boot from that i should be good to go? The only other question I have is about the heat sink and fans, as I may have to upgrade to the heat sink and fans that come with the GDL56, which are the same size fans with a larger heat sink for the 3070. I do expect a little trimming here and there, no issue.

You might want to simply sell off the laptop in hand and add some cash to go buy an higher spec'd one. If you add all the resources you're going to drop with a swap, assuming that the ports line up and the board doesn't ask for a bespoke chassis, it'll cost you more to do the swap.
