Hello,
My laptop starts up 2/3 the way and does not make it to the welcome window, what can I do to try to fix it

Have you tried booting into safe mode?

After you see the BIOS screen (the screen that flashes the manufacturer) hold down the F8 key and when it starts beeping at you let it go. Then use the up and down aarows and the enter key to select "safe mode"

After that just follow the instructions.
