Does anyone have any experience with these? I'm thinking of getting
ones and would like to hear from a few that has one and get their
thoughts, pro and con.

I just got my Dell DJ recently. It was a really hard decision between the
Dell and the Ipod. I bought the fm tuner with it and that is definitely a
plus since you can program 20 stations. I also bought dudebox software which
is alot easier than musicmatch. The pros would be the price for a 20 gig
hard drive. The design is fine with me. I'm kinda still on the fence about
it myself. The cons to me would be not having a stand for it. I guess you
have to buy a belkin stand made specifically for it. I have no problems with
organizing my songs or anything like that. I don't know if there's anything
else specifically you would like to know...Please ask if there is...I hope I
helped.

Yeah, any opinions are welcome and I very much appreciate yours.

I listen to a *lot* of audiobooks. Stupid question, but are you able
to set up a 'songlist' for say "The DaVinci Code" or some such?

I've had my DJ 15 for about a month now and I've very pleased with it.
When I first received it I was somewhat disappointed that it was
recommended that I use MusicMatch Jukebox software to load MP3s.
After a couple of days I discovered that there was a firmware update
that included a new software program called DJ Explorer that has
simplified the process very much.
Many are buying ($25) a program called Dudebox that have some other
capabilities that DJ Explorer lacks. I haven't tried it!
I wish now that I'd bought the 20GB version. I've been ripping into MP3 some old
tapes and CDs so it doesn't take long to fill up 15GB!
Battery life is very good and really the only "weak" point I would consider
would be the headphone jack. It may last 100 years but to me it's a weak
point on most any player that has a phone jack, mainly when using those
headphones that have a right angle plug on them. They tend to put pressure on
the jack in a direction the jack isn't designed to accept..... not in and out.
Of course that isn't the fault of the DJ but is a concern of mine.

do you have any recommendations on a good pair of earbud headphones?

No, right now I'm using ..... occasionally..... the earbuds that came with the
DJ. They are about as good as any other earbuds I've used but not as
good as a good set of headphones. I have several headphones but my
favorite .... may surprise many... are the Pro35 Titanium phones from
Radio Shack. I have used them for several years... they used to be called
the Pro25. I haven't bought any in a year or so but I believe they are still
available. I usually buy them on sale for $19.95.
Oh, I know, some wouldn't think much of them but I believe headphones
are like speakers..... what sounds good to one person doesn't
necessarily sound pleasing to someone else.

I have a new 20 GB Dell jukebox and love it also. The major complaint
I have on it is that you will get "Playback Error's" and it will
refuse to play certain songs.

For example, I tried to download mp3 files of my Deva Premal albums
and some Enya songs and it simply will not play them. Probably becuase
the songs are inordinately large mp3's...30-50 MB each.

If that's not an issue, this is a great sounding machine at a good
price. I got mine for $193 on Dell refurbished.

I have a 15 GB DJ and like it very much. I've never encountered the
"Playback Error's" nor have I had it refuse to play. I don't think
I have any 30-50 MB songs. The largest I could find was 29.6 MB
..... a classical piece by Yo Yo Ma..... it plays just fine.
I have a lot of Enya songs but none are that big.
