I've had my DJ 15 for about a month now and I've very pleased with it.
When I first received it I was somewhat disappointed that it was
recommended that I use MusicMatch Jukebox software to load MP3s.
After a couple of days I discovered that there was a firmware update
that included a new software program called DJ Explorer that has
simplified the process very much.
Many are buying ($25) a program called Dudebox that have some other
capabilities that DJ Explorer lacks. I haven't tried it!
I wish now that I'd bought the 20GB version. I've been ripping into MP3 some old
tapes and CDs so it doesn't take long to fill up 15GB!
Battery life is very good and really the only "weak" point I would consider
would be the headphone jack. It may last 100 years but to me it's a weak
point on most any player that has a phone jack, mainly when using those
headphones that have a right angle plug on them. They tend to put pressure on
the jack in a direction the jack isn't designed to accept..... not in and out.
Of course that isn't the fault of the DJ but is a concern of mine.
